Job Description: JD for Lab Operations Engineer:
These are pure Device labs with hundreds of Google Devices and possibly other vendor devices as well
Device can be Google Phones, Chromebook, TVs and other lot of devices
There will be external Users/Customers, who will be Executing/Testing their respective use cases using different device Setups in these labs
Role of the required lab engineers will be to maintain and Operate these Devices in the Lab
External Users/Customers will be raising the Tickets in case of Device related issues while running their use cases - for example some device gone bad or switched off or behaving incorrectly
As part of Ticket Resolution - Lab engineer will be doing required Troubleshooting and Diagnostics in order to fix the Device Operation
Hence, we need to provide Lab Operations engineer as part of these requirements
These lab Operation engineer also needs to do Racking and Stacking activity on need basis
Some basic Bash or Python scripting knowledge will be good to have
For these engineers, networking knowledge is not mandatory as Network Troubleshooting and Debugging is not part of work scope
