Reports To: Entertainment Lead
Position Type: Seasonal
Operates heavy laundry machinery such as washers, dryers, pressers and steamers.
Fold and organize bedding, towels, etc. for the Worlds of Fun Village.
Launder live show and event costumes, ensuring they are ready for use in a timely manner
Ensures a clean and organized work environment
Collects packages and other deliveries as needed
Assists with distribution and collection of costumes and other items during events
Reports any laundry items that are damaged or unusable to supervisor
Provides guest service according to Worlds of Fun standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Worlds of Fun Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Meets Worlds of Fun's attendance requirements as outlined in Enchanted Parks attendance policies.
Adheres to Worlds of Fun's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support park operations.
