Braun Intertec is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Building Sciences group in the Grapevine office.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships, including project and non-project related face-to-face meetings
· Leadership of a technical or project related team
· Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects
· Develop and execute whole scopes, and prepare engineering reports giving professional opinions and practical structural engineering solutions
· Manage projects (scope, schedule, budget)
· Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies and standards
· Mentor junior level engineering staff
· Understand and work in compliance with corporate health and safety policies
· Assist in the review of analysis of building component failures and third party review of construction documents and specifications for building envelope components.
• Support (either directing or on occasion assist) with field testing, as needed, including window water spray testing, blower door testing, thermographic (infrared) inspections and waterproofing/air barrier testing/inspections.

• Ability to walk through a project or jobsite, stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, carry, touch and climb. This can be in a combination of tightly enclosed areas, or on ladders, lifts and scaffolding. At times the job can be physically demanding and involves interior and exterior work in all weather conditions.
· Travel up to 35% of time
· Valid Driver’s License and clear driving record.
Required Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree (BS) in structural, civil, or related engineering required
· Master's degree (MS) in structural, civil, or related engineering optional
· Three or more years of civil or structural engineering experience
· Experience managing client relationships, vendor management, and leading a team preferred
· Professional Engineer registration/licensure in TX or ability to attain within 6 to 12 months
Ability to lift up to 50 to 75 pounds on a periodic basis

Compensation Range:
$80,000.00 - $119,000.00
