We are seeking a Transportation Engineer to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm. Key Responsibilities
- Design and support transportation projects (roadways, intersections, highways, multimodal facilities)
- Perform or support traffic analysis, roadway design, and corridor studies
- Prepare plans, specifications, and technical reports
- Utilize tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and traffic modeling software
- Coordinate with internal civil, planning, and environmental teams
- Support or manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables
- Interface with clients, municipalities, and DOT agencies
- Assist with permitting and regulatory compliance
- Contribute to proposals and business development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- EIT or PE license (or ability to obtain)
- 2–10+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Experience in roadway design, traffic engineering, or transportation planning
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Synchro, HCS, or similar tools
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Interest in project management or technical leadership growth
