A company is looking for a Linux Engineer to join their core infrastructure team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the migration project from RHEL 7 to RHEL 9, developing strategies and providing support to application owners
Manage daily operations of the RHEL server fleet, including automation solutions for configuration management
Ensure system security and compliance, perform troubleshooting, and maintain documentation for operational processes
Required Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass a background investigation for a Public Trust security clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or 4+ years of equivalent experience
7+ years of experience as a Linux / RHEL Engineer or Administrator in a large-scale data center environment
Expert-level proficiency with RHEL 7 and 8, along with demonstrated experience with RHEL 9
Proven experience in planning and executing large-scale OS migrations and supporting application teams during transitions
