As a member of this team your focus will be providing server support for Micron's Engineering design teams to ensure solutions meet or exceed business requirements. In this role you will be expected to suggest, promote, and leverage published standards to minimize environment complexity and ensure high server uptime and availability.Provide best in class computer support for engineering design teamsProvide technical direction and escalation for technologies maintained within the Linux compute spaceDrive innovation and automation of computer solutions both internally and for our customersProvisioning of systems both physical and virtual.Drive configuration management through puppetProficient in scripting languages and tools to automate tasks, system builds, and change management (Puppet, Python, shell, etc.)Monitor overall health of the Unix / Linux environment with an emphasis on proactive discovery of potential issuesContinually work to improve Linux compute environment through automation.Propose and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of systems and services.
