JOBSUMMARY
This positionis responsible for operatingthe front end loader: astraight or articulated rubber-tired tractor-type vehicle equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage or processing areas, to feed conveyors, hoppers, or chutes, and to load trucks around the facility in an efficient manner while adhering to all established safety policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Comply withWestlakeSafety Policiesand Procedures

• Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility

• Operatefront end loaderin a safe and effective manner and follow all safety and company policies

• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on thefront-endloaderto ensure safe and efficient operation. Notify theShiftSupervisor of any safety or maintenance problemsimmediately

• Load trucks with tiles debris

• Push sand to keep the piles in the assigned area

• Load sand in truck hopper when needed

• Perform the cleaning of slurry pump in the scheduled times

• Refill Sealer and Plasticizer tanks as needed. Keep the area clean and report any leaks to Supervisor, safety and maintenance.

• Maintain the area clean and in safe and efficient condition

• Collect all the data and paperwork required

• All other duties as assigned by supervisor

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Basic mathematical skills (i.e. ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide)

• Good communication skills

• Team player, reliable and high work ethic

• Be able to obtain Front end loader andforkliftdriverlicense within the company policy.

EDUCATIONAND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Able to read, comprehend and follow simple instructions, required.

• High School Diploma preferred

• 1 year of related experience

EQUIPMENT AND SPECIAL MATERIALS

• Operating Front end loader andForklift, mixers, air driven pumps, moisture balance and dust collector system.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKENVIRONMENT

The employee should possess the ability to:

• Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable

• Withstand exposure to temperature extremes inside or out

• Prolong standing or in stationary position

• Complete repetitive movements

• Bend and/or twist

• Lift/move/transport items up to50 pounds

• Ability to move or traverse about the facilities

• Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions

• Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection)

$22.06 per hour

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US markets. The pay range is based on relevant market data in our lowest and highest geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, experience, and skillset. Westlake is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, sign on payments, and other forms of compensation may be offered as part of a total compensation package (also to include a full range of medical and other benefits).
