Job Description

• Expedite the import / export process by liaising with regional Import / Export coordinators, Warehousing / Distribution, and Plant & Production Planning.
• Coordinate logistics for import / export shipments (ocean, air, land, rail) in collaboration with freight forwarders, brokers, Transportation Contract Managers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all work is completed in a timely and compliant manner, adhering to internal policies and government regulations.
• Verify that all documentation is accurate and compliant with U.S. and foreign customer requirements.
• Audit team members’ files to ensure audit readiness and participate in internal or external (USCBP / EPA) audits as needed.
• Process all orders accurately, timely, and in compliance for assigned countries and / or product portfolios.
• Stay current on all applicable import / export regulations through formal training and self-guided learning.
• Develop, maintain, and train team members and stakeholders on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for assigned portfolios.
• Collaborate cross-functionally, across divisions and internationally, to identify and implement best practices and continuous improvement.
• Serve as the key contact for foreign partners / customers.
• Conduct import / export operations process training as required.
• Handle complex global trade accounts / trade lanes.
• Perform other duties and participate in projects as needed.
