About Us:

Gateway Living offers a distinctive campus-style environment where individuals can experience a sense of belonging while receiving round-the-clock personal care and services. Our campus comprises seven homes dedicated to our Memory Care residents and four homes dedicated to Specific Needs. We are seeking compassionate individuals who excel in communication and are committed to providing personalized support to each resident.

Position Summary:

As an LPN at Gateway Living, you will deliver essential bedside care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, changing dressings, and collecting samples for medical tests. Successful candidates will possess strong communication skills, fostering positive relationships with both colleagues and residents. LPNs at Gateway Living work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment, ensuring the well-being of each resident, including those with complex dementia or mental health conditions. Adherence to program regulations, including HIPAA guidelines, is imperative.

Preferred Qualifications:

1-2 years of LPN experience in long-term residential care or mental health settings preferred
Current LPN License through OSB in good standing
Effective communication with residents' families, RNs, GNPs, caregivers, and other medical professionals
Proficiency in medical terminology
Pass successful drug screening and criminal background check
Familiarity with Eldermark Software or similar electronic resident record systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
