This individual must be able to work independently without direct supervision while staying on task with repairs and routine preventative maintenance schedules. The role requires frequent, real-time response to equipment-related issues to minimize downtime and keep production running efficiently.

What You'll Do : -
Operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of OE tire mounting equipment and production machinery-
Assist with production line start-up, shut down, changeovers, and general operational support-
Perform preventative maintenance on tire mounting machines, conveyors, and associated equipment-
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues-
Perform minor to major repair of tire mounting and balancing equipment-
Perform minor to major repair of forklifts and other material handling equipment-
Minor to major repair of other facility equipment and building systems-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date preventative maintenance records for all equipment and facility systems-
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment-
Identify and implement process or equipment improvements to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency-
Perform other duties as assigned to support facility and team operations
What You Need : -
Electrical knowledge and experience with : -
120VAC - 480VAC; single and three-phase power-
PLC systems-
Industrial machine controls-
Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems-
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting experience-
Ability to effectively read and interpret : -
Equipment manuals and technical documentation-
Electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics-
Mechanical drawings and machine prints-
Ability to perform minor welding and fabrication as needed-
Prior experience in tire, automotive, or manufacturing environment preferred-
Positive attitude, self-motivated, and ability to think quickly in a fast-paced environment-
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision-
Flexibility to work modified schedules as required to support production needs-
Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 25 pounds regularly; occasionally lift, push, or move 50 pounds
