About this Role

The Learning Experience Designer (LXD) will move beyond traditional instructional design to create engaging, intuitive, and effective learning experiences that drive high-performance and employee retention within our RCM operations. Reporting to the Manager, Training & Enablement, you will partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to transform complex financial workflows into actionable learning journeys (e-learning, microlearning, vILT, and job aids).

POSITION ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with leadership and QA teams to analyze performance data, identify knowledge gaps in AR, coding, or insurance verification, and define learning objectives.
• Design and develop end-to-end learning journeys, including onboarding programs, technical system training, and soft skills training for client-facing staff.
• Utilize Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, or Adobe Creative Cloud to create interactive, engaging eLearning modules and performance support tools.
• Create presentations, simulations, and interactive tutorials for proprietary software, including CRM platforms.
• Use LXP/LMS data to track training effectiveness, analyze QA scores, and iterate training materials for continuous improvement.
• Develop high-quality SOPs, facilitator guides, and quick reference guides (job aids).
• Develop diverse learning solutions across operational processes, systems functionality, and financial content, ensuring comprehensive training support.

Requirements

EDUCATIONAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field.
• 3+ years in Instructional Design or Learning Experience Design, preferably within healthcare, RCM, or financial services.
• Hands-on experience with Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise), Adobe Creative Cloud, and Camtasia.
• Understanding of Revenue Cycle processes (registration, medical billing, coding, AR, denial management) highly desired.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, ADDIE or SAM model, and UI/UX design principles.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical, financial, and operational information into clear, accessible content for diverse audiences.
