The Hovestadt Lab in the Department of Pediatric Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking a highly motivated computational postdoctoral research fellow. Our lab studies childhood brain tumors and leukemias, two of the most common cancers in children. We aim to better understand tumor biology using cutting-edge experimental and computational approaches. Translational goals of our research include the development of more accurate patient classification systems and novel treatment strategies.

The postdoctoral fellow will apply modern AI techniques to accurately predict clinical outcomes and provide treatment recommendations for children with cancer. Towards this goal, the postdoc will work with large genomic datasets derived from thousands of patients. The project provides ample opportunity to advance scientific skills and to collaborate with world renowned experts in the fields of childhood brain tumor research and epigenomics. Candidates need to be passionate about cancer research and intrinsically motivated. Creativity and innovative/independent thinking are a must.

Pay Transparency Statement: The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate's relevant experience, skills and qualifications. For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). $72,000.00 - $76,385.00
