What will you do? Your day to day success is determined by your ability to:
- Maintain a safe working environment and promote health and safety awareness.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency before and throughout operation of NC Grinder.
- Grind parts to specified dimensions.
- Interpret blueprint drawings for specifications.
- Clean machine, tooling and part, and may perform minor machine maintenance.
- Set up and operate NC Grinder.
- Use hand angle grinder.
- Plan, prioritize and organize assigned tasks.
- Communicate quality issues and non-conformances to management promptly.
- Use various measuring tools to ensure conformity to visual and dimensional specifications.
- Participate in continuous learning opportunities.
- Maintain all work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
With Quality in mind, you also bring the following:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience or training in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in operation of grinder lathe.
- Basic math, geometry, and mechanical aptitude.
- Basic measurement and print-reading skills.
- Experience with precision measuring tools.
- Precision and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent manual dexterity and ability to control application tools precisely.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Aptitude for decision-making and problem solving.
- Excellent team skills; collaborative, open-minded, adaptable.
- Motivation to self-advance and grow within the company.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two Year Technical Degree accreditation preferred.
- Two years of previous work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Passion in delivering accuracy and quality as a priority.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds or more.
- Prolonged standing and walking.
- Repetitive movement, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
