Location: Mesa, AZ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Overtime as required)
The Shipping Clerk manages outgoing shipments, processes small parcel orders (UPS/FedEx), and pulls miscellaneous orders for same-day delivery. This role requires high accuracy, physical stamina, and the ability to operate safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Shipping & Receiving: Process daily UPS/FedEx orders using shipping software; palletize, sort, and receive inbound freight using RF scanners.
Order Fulfillment: Pull missing or shorted items for quick delivery and process customer returns to vendors.
Inventory Quality: Identify and report inventory discrepancies to supervisors to maintain high fill rates.
Logistics & Loading: Build, consolidate, and secure pallets (strapping/padding) to prevent transit damage; load shipments onto trucks.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, etc.) and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Documentation: Complete all shipping paperwork and transfer orders in accordance with established procedures.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred; forklift experience is a plus.
Skills: Basic math proficiency and strong communication skills.
Physical Requirements: * Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours.
Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs and pushing/pulling carts weighing 100+ lbs repeatedly.
Frequent bending, reaching, and stretching.
Reliability: Proven track record of excellent attendance and the ability to work overtime.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.00 - $17.50 Per Hour
