Description: The Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as a key customer-facing support role, responsible for managing customer orders from initial entry through final delivery. This position ensures accurate processing, timely communication, and a seamless experience throughout the order lifecycle
Responsibilities
- Process and verify customer purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal and external requirements.
- Coordinate the expediting of products to meet customer expectations and delivery timelines.
- Communicate schedule updates and changes to both internal teams and external customers, based on customer input and evolving needs.
- Collaborate with sales, production, and other cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
- Monitor order status throughout the production cycle and proactively notify customers of any variances.
- Process product returns resulting from incorrect or damaged items and ensure proper resolution.
- Provide ongoing problem-solving support to customers, maintaining a high level of responsiveness and service quality.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, with a focus on quality, reliability, and on-time delivery.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support team and business objectives.
Requirements:
- 2 years previous experience with customer service responsibilities, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working for a Build to Print Contract Manufacture highly desirable
- Experience working in the electrical industry, electrical wire harness or panel industry is preferred
- Experience working for a Commercial OEM, Electrical or Electronics Distributor, Manufacturer's Representative, Systems Integrator or Wire Manufacturer is a plus
- Familiarity with using ERP systems for quoting or order processing is beneficial
- Must have strong communication skills to communicate with other team members and customers
- Must have positive attitude with customer appreciation mentality
- Ability to lift 50lbs as needed
- Ability to stand, sit, and perform repetitive work for long periods of time
- Highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with the ability to problem solve
- Operate with a sense of teamwork
