Job Summary: This position performs customer support and attends court for child support cases and is an excellent fit for critical thinkers. If you enjoy working with customers and problem solving, this may be the position for you. Your duties would include:
- Initiating and responding to requests
- Coordinating with internal and external partners
- Researching and resolving case issues
- Gathering information and analyzing case data to determine next steps
- Assisting customers
- Preparing for and attending court
- Interacting with legal services providers, other states, employers, and other business partners
- Making decisions based on case information and provided documentation
Minimum Requirements: Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue in the Child Support Program as a Revenue Specialist II. Did not accept a lateral transfer within the last 12 months (excluding hardship lateral transfers).
Special Notes: This is an Internal Transfer Program (ITP) Opportunity. Standard workday of 8am 5pm, Monday through Friday. This position requires routine travel for court attendance. This position is designated as a "mission essential" position pursuant to the Department of Revenue's Continuity of Operations Plan. The incumbent is required to be available to perform emergency or disaster-related duties due to an emergency or disaster impacting or threatening to impact the Department which may require the incumbent to work additional hours over and above the regular work schedule. Emergency or disaster-related duty may include performing or supporting the Department's mission essential functions, primary business functions or other activities related to emergency or disaster events or incidents. Responses to qualifying questions should be verifiable by skills and/or experiences stated on application and/or resume. All experience, including examples of implementation, must be documented in detail on the candidate profile/resume. Salary: $38,760.36 - $45,004.08 / annually
