How You'll Make An Impact In This Role

• Guarantee surgical precision by inspecting, assembling, and evaluating instrument sets so surgical teams have complete, high-quality tools for every procedure.
• Master advanced sterilization processes by operating decontamination equipment in strict alignment with manufacturer guidelines, ensuring patient safety and infection prevention.
• Maintain instrument accuracy using modern tracking systems and count sheets, directly reducing delay times in the operating room.
• Optimize inventory workflow to keep vital case carts fully stocked and ready for immediate surgical needs.
• Champion continuous quality and peer growth through regular quality assurance checks, elevating standards across the entire sterile processing team.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association preferred.
• Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
