Responsible for the coordination and supervision of all activities within the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) to include , but not limited to, decontamination activities, assembly, sterilization, and issuing/ monitoring equipment dispensed by the department following established infection control practices. Must be conscientious and capable of accepting pressure assignments, clerical assignments and all duties relative to the department.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Central Services Technician Course
- National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association upon hire -OR-
- National Certified Healthcare Leader - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association upon hire -OR-
- National Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association upon hire
- 3 years of hospital/surgery center sterile processing department experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- College Degree
- Supervisory experience in related field
- Experience in all functions within the Materials Department to include Case Carts
