We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Programmer (COBOL) to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of large-scale enterprise mainframe applications. This role works closely with business analysts, QA teams, and system administrators to deliver reliable, secure, and efficient mainframe solutions for critical business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain COBOL-based mainframe applications.
- Analyze, debug, and optimize legacy and new code to improve performance and stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Perform data analysis, file handling, and batch processing using JCL and VSAM.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare and maintain documentation including system designs, technical specifications, and operational procedures.

The base range for this contract position is $65 - $75 / per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered
