Job description
Job Title: Materials, Parts, and Processes Engineer
Location: Remote

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist in defining requirements for materials, parts, and processes in product manufacturing.
  • Draft specifications and documents to manage material and process deployment.
  • Evaluate new technologies for potential business applications.
  • Conduct routine tests and audits to qualify suppliers.
  • Analyze failures in materials, parts, or processes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop systems to meet user requirements.

Skills Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, Aeronautical Engineering, or Chemistry.
  • Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience.
  • Experience in creating test plans and executing experiments.
  • Ability to work with chemicals like paints and sealants.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and strong technical writing skills.

Preferred Skills:
  • Over 2 years of related engineering experience.
  • Experience with aerospace or automotive paints.
  • Familiarity with statistical software like Minitab or JMP.
  • Experience with 3D printing and CAD software.
  • Programming skills or experience with Excel macros.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience, or a Master's degree in a relevant field.
