Our client is a leading provider of construction and heavy equipment solutions, committed to delivering excellence in service and maintenance to our clients. We pride ourselves on our skilled and professional team who keep our equipment operating efficiently and safely. We are currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Technician with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to join our team.

As a Heavy Equipment Field Technician, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and service of various heavy equipment in the field. You will work with a range of construction and industrial machinery and equipment. Your role will include diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, performing repairs, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and effectively. A key part of this role is traveling to client sites with a service vehicle, so a CDL is required.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot heavy equipment issues in the field, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
- Perform necessary repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment according to the manufacturer's recommendations and safety protocols.
- Operate service vehicle safely and efficiently, transporting tools, parts, and other necessary equipment to job sites.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, explaining repairs and maintenance work completed.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, equipment technologies, and repair techniques.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures and comply with local and state regulations.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification in heavy equipment repair or a related field is a plus.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Proven experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance, preferably in a field setting.
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be physically fit to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites within the service area.
