CERTIFIED SCRIBE CARDIOLOGY TERMINOLOGY A+

Are you passionate about healthcare and eager to support a dedicated cardiology team in providing exceptional patient care? Heart & Vascular Wellness Center, a premier cardiology medical practice, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our team.

Position Overview:As a Medical Scribe, you will play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our clinical staff by accurately documenting patient encounters and maintaining precise medical records. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work alongside a skilled cardiology team and gain invaluable experience in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately document patient encounters, including medical histories, physical exams, diagnostic findings, treatment plans, and follow-ups.
  • Assist cardiologists with chart preparation, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and practice standards.
  • Update and maintain electronic health records (EHR) in real time during patient visits.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Ensure documentation adheres to all applicable legal, ethical, and confidentiality guidelines.
  • Provide administrative support as needed to enhance workflow efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a medical scribe or in a healthcare setting is a plus, but not required. On-the-job training is available for the right candidate.
  • Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in medical terminology and electronic health record systems (preferred but not required).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism under pressure.
