Responsibilities

Were hiring! Were excited to add an onsite Network Engineer to our team of high performers. This position includes an on-call rotation.

What you will do :

• Monitor and maintain a production environment which includes routers switches load balancers remote VPN proxies DNS DHCP NTP and IPAM
• Administers network management tools to include configuration implementation monitoring maintenance and management of system baselines.
• Solid knowledge of routing protocols network hardware and software security technologies and network infrastructure.
• Plan and execute Network / Security changes and ensure performance and security are maintained.
• Installs configures services repairs and maintains hardware and software for network services storage and network devices and server systems.
• Implements required hardware upgrades and repairs inoperative devices to maintain mission capability.
• Install terminate reroute and test copper and fiber optic cabling associated with offsite locations. Coordinate material and tool supply requirements for all cable and equipment rack installation projects.
• Completes all required installation documentation and will be knowledgeable in network cable installation techniques and labeling schemes.
• Dynamic and fast-paced work environment requiring effective interactions and communications.
• Experience supporting Cisco ACI
• Maintain network communication closets and equipment racks to include cabling and elevation drawings.
• Must be able to define cable plant expansion paths and routing of cable according to client standards.
• Make recommendation to engineering for improvements.
• Work with vendors to resolve issues and platform upgrades.
• Escalation support is required and mandatory.
• Certifying solutions prior to deploying it into production environments.
• Work with engineering to understand changes and provide input as required.
• Oncall rotation required.
• Amazon Web Services knowledge

Target Salary Range

$80000 - $128000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
