Elevate Global Positioning Infrastructure as our next Network Engineer (GNSS Focus)!

Are you ready to ensure the integrity of world-leading precision technology used by hundreds of thousands of customers across the globe? Join our high-growth Network Operations team to scale and optimize critical cloud and automation infrastructure that powers the future of surveying, construction, and agriculture.

What Makes This Role Great:

In this role, you will hold a unique position at the intersection of physical data centers and advanced cloud environments, taking full ownership of high-availability GPS correction services. You will act as a visionary pragmatist, leveraging infrastructure-as-code and automation to solve complex technical challenges while directly influencing the reliability of essential global positioning products.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated solutions using infrastructure-as-code principles to drive efficiency across AWS and Azure environments.

  • Manage and optimize VMware virtual infrastructure and physical server assets to ensure peak performance and system accuracy.

  • Lead the installation, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of diverse network technologies to maintain 24/7 service availability.

  • Collaborate as a key project team member to architect best-practice solutions that streamline IT and business functions.

  • Proactively monitor and analyze network data to identify and implement system improvements that make our global services faster and more reliable.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering, System Administration, or IT Operations.

  • Proven proficiency with cloud service providers, specifically AWS and Azure.

  • Strong expertise in routing and switching configuration, troubleshooting, and network security frameworks.

  • Experience with automation and configuration tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

  • Solid understanding of server connectivity and VMware virtual infrastructure.

Bonus Points For

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python for advanced automation.

  • Hands-on experience with physical Data Center setup and equipment installation.

  • Background in supporting high-availability GNSS or positioning technology services.

Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
