Practical knowledge of concepts, principles, and practices of networking that enable performance in routine to more complex installation and maintenance activities. Knowledge and skill sufficient to apply technical knowledge of computer networking and data transport to solve problems in the specialty area. JT4 is hiring an onsite Network LAN / WAN Technician for their Las Vegas, NV location.
JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DUTIES
- Experience with design, implementation, testing and maintenance on network and telecom equipment and systems.
- Performs as network lead on network field engineering assignments.
- Requires experience across different types of networking equipment and associated technologies.
- Strong understanding of WAN / LAN systems used to transmit voice, data and video across digital and fiber optic WAN / LAN infrastructure.
- Ability to design and implement solutions in accordance with commercial network standards.
- Experience with network layers 2 / 3
- Experience with commercial carrier services and managing the system interconnects.
- Ability to manage, troubleshoot and repair physical logical network infrastructure.
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
In addition, a Field Engineer III must possess the following qualifications :
Must be a US Citizen
Must possess a valid, state issued driver's license.
Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.

SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $76K to $108K annually.Note : The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. JT4, LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer
