(training will be on 1st shift for few weeks)

Position Summary:
The SMT Set-Up Operator is responsible for preparing and staging materials and equipment for SMT production, ensuring smooth and efficient machine operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and tear down component feeders for SMT pick-and-place machines
Stage feeders and materials for upcoming jobs
Assist operators with machine changeovers
Pull parts from stockroom and overflow locations based on pick lists
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year of SMT equipment experience preferred
Knowledge of electronic component identification
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and data entry)
Familiarity with IPC SMT placement and soldering standards
Ability to read and understand assembly drawings
Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and problem-solving ability
Team-oriented mindset
Working Conditions:
Ability to stand for long periods
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
