Job description
Overview A forklift operator 2 must be experienced on stand up, be available load and unload pallet from trailers, floor, and racks with product across the warehouse. The Forklift operator need to inspect the equipment and complete check list daily before operating any machine. Responsibilities POSITION PROFILE (Major duties, accountabilities, and responsibilities) Monitor and maintain inventory. Organize and secure materials for loading and unloading trailers. Pick orders from inventory using a pick sheet. Shrink wrap pallets to prepare them for shipping. Weigh products and/or loads and record weight. Report any faulty equipment, damage to racks, or other potential safety hazards. Attend certification refresher courses. Use basic math skills. Maintain a clean work area. Maintain equipment by cleaning, oiling, recharging, refueling, etc. Validate bill of ladings for accuracy. Perform quality checks. Be alert of other employees in the work zone. Use radio frequency equipment as needed for picking, put-away, receiving, and load functions. Comply with OSHA Standards and BISSELL safety policy. Equipment used: Forklift-sit down and stand up Pallet Jack Radio Dock equipment Trash compactor Qualifications REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES for OPERATIONS JOB FAMILY: Interpersonal/collaborative skills Manage/ contribute to multiple dynamic priorities. Initiative Functional/Technical Skills Continuous improvement Actively seek and share Information. Drive for results Customer focus and dedication. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: (Years of experience and education, etc.) Experience Level: Minimum 1 year warehouse experience High school.
