Job details Spherion West Springfield MA is seeking reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operators to support warehouse and distribution operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts, handling inventory, and maintaining efficiency while following strict safety protocols.

Responsibilities: ... Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, pallet jack, or reach truck) to move, load, and unload materials
Safely transport products throughout the warehouse and staging areas
Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying and documenting incoming/outgoing goods
Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for shipment
Maintain inventory accuracy through proper labeling, scanning, and organization
Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company procedures
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Skills:
Forklift certification (current or previous)
Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS)
Experience in shipping/receiving or logistics operations
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Teamwork and communication skills

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
1???4 years of forklift operating experience in a warehouse or distribution setting
Ability to safely operate material handling equipment
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
