The Fuels Terminal Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a fuels terminal, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of petroleum products. This role involves operating equipment such as pumps, valves, and gauges, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Operators work closely with logistics and operations teams to manage inventory and coordinate the movement of products. They also conduct regular inspections and maintenance of terminal equipment to ensure reliable operations.
Monitor and control equipment to ensure the efficient operation of production or process equipment. Follow safety and environmental regulations and protocols to ensure compliance and respond to emergencies. Document and analyze production or operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Identify and resolve operational issues in collaboration with team members. Work with maintenance teams to address equipment issues and perform necessary repairs. Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and emergency response drills to ensure preparedness. Coordinate with engineers, quality control, and other team members to optimize operations and achieve production targets. Maintain product quality and consistency by monitoring process parameters and making necessary adjustments.
