Job Summary

In this contingent resource assignment, the consultant will support complex, large‑scale Software Engineering initiatives within a financial services environment. The role involves evaluating multi‑faceted engineering challenges, contributing to strategic planning, and ensuring solutions align with organizational policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. The consultant will collaborate closely with client personnel to deliver high‑quality, scalable database solutions.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, and functions
  • Optimize SQL and PL/SQL code for performance and scalability across very large datasets
  • Analyze execution plans and implement tuning strategies to resolve performance bottlenecks
  • Ensure robust error handling, transaction control, and data integrity in production systems
  • Review and analyze complex engineering challenges requiring evaluation of multiple factors
  • Contribute to the resolution of multi‑layered technical issues with broad organizational impact
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with client teams on engineering initiatives
  • Work with application and data teams to deliver efficient, scalable database solutions
