  • Determine the learning strategies required to meet the learning needs of the soldier.
  • Apply adult learning principles to design eLearning modules, job aids, and instructor-led materials that simplify complex technical procedures.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments to ensure compliance with NSA and DoD directives.

  • BA degree or 12-15 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with the Experiential Learning Model (ELM)
  • Experience developing TSPs for the US Armed Forces.
  • Extensive experience with Type 1 cryptographic devices, Key Management Infrastructure (KMI), and loading devices.
  • Experience with COMSEC modernization initiatives (cryptographic modernization).
  • DoD 8570.1-M compliance (e.g., Security+).
  • Army Instructor Basic Instructor Course equivalent.
  • Prior experience as a COMSEC Custodian or Alternate Custodian.
  • Must be able to travel at least 40% of the year.
