Order Picker
The Order Picker position is responsible for accurately picking products from locations using a cart. This is a non-forklift position, working on your feet.
Responsibilities
- Receive all incoming products and verify that shipment information, quantities, and documentation are accurate.
- Manually unload trailers by hand in a safe and efficient manner, handling freight up to 50 lbs.
- Use pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment to move, stage, and organize freight.
- Work within an inventory management system, entering and updating data with strong attention to detail.
- Perform inventory control tasks, including cycle counts and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Support inbound and outbound operations, including preparing and processing shipments.
- Handle shipping tasks using carriers such as FedEx and UPS, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Assist with order picking, kitting, and general warehouse duties as needed to support daily operations.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse work area in line with company procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues with shipments, inventory, or documentation promptly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with SAP or similar inventory/warehouse management systems.
- Background in order picking, kitting, and general warehouse operations.
- Experience working with major parcel and freight carriers such as FedEx and UPS.
- Ability to multitask and remain flexible, supporting different warehouse areas as needed.
- Strong organizational skills and a methodical approach to handling freight and inventory.

This role is based in a small, organized, temperature-controlled warehouse. The standard schedule runs from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You will work in a setting that balances physical activity, such as unloading trailers and moving freight with pallet jacks, with computer-based tasks in an inventory management system, potentially including SAP. The environment is laid back yet focused on accuracy, safety, and efficiency, with a practical warehouse dress code suitable for manual work and equipment handling.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MN. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
