Acara Solutions is looking for a Material Handler for one of our clients in Garden Grove, CA.

Pay Range : $20-$21. Monday-Friday : 5 : 30am-2pm

Job Description

  • Participate in daily warehouse activities, including the shipments to customers,

vendors and other MCHP sites, both domestic and international.

  • Receiving incoming material, processing in multiple ERP systems
  • Learn the ERP systems that are used in the warehouse to include BaaN, AX2012 and

the SA tool.

  • Using the Ace government system, for filing shipments over $2500 in value.
  • Prepare shipping documents for all shipments leaving
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain regular attendance.
  • Willing to work overtime, when required

Required Skills / Qualifications : Education and Experience :

  • High school diploma or

experience.

  • Dangerous goods certification, preferred

Experience in :

  • Strong shipping and logistics experience
  • Shipping both international and domestic.
  • Creating airway bills in FedEx, UPS and DHL systems.
  • Understanding 3 party carriers eg : KWE, Morrison etc
  • Understanding of Invoices, HTS / ECCN numbers, EEI filing
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs / No previous issues with back or any type of lifting issues.
  • Operation of a forklift
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
  • Very customer service oriented
