Job Summary
Baked Beans Farm is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Cannabis Transport Driver who will also support production and packaging when not on the road. This role is driver-first-you'll be responsible for compliant cannabis transportation (including manifests, chain-of-custody, and secure handling). When deliveries are complete, you will work hands-on in our packaging/production areas to help the team hit daily goals.
This is a great role for someone who thrives on structure, takes pride in reliability, and is comfortable switching between driving and production work.
Key Responsibilities
Cannabis Transport (Primary)
Safely transport cannabis products and related materials between licensed facilities in accordance with Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) regulations and company SOPs
Maintain secure custody of products at all times (vehicle security, locks, storage protocols, and chain-of-custody)
Follow all route plans, schedules, and delivery/pickup requirements
Verify orders, invoices, and required documentation (e.g., manifests) before departure and at delivery
Complete required logs and documentation accurately (driver logs, delivery confirmations, incident reporting, etc.)
Communicate professionally with customers/receivers and internal teams during route execution
Support loading/unloading while following safety and compliance standards
Packaging & Production Support (Secondary)
Support packaging operations while not driving (Fog Cutters and other products), including:
QC checks, tubing, labeling, packout/casing, and general production support
Operate production/packaging equipment following SOPs and training
Assist with inventory organization and staging of materials for production and transport
Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain a compliant manufacturing environment
Adhere to all safety protocols and compliance regulations
Work collaboratively to meet daily production targets and quality expectations
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Experience driving professionally (delivery, courier, transport, logistics) strongly preferred
Ability to follow strict SOPs and compliance requirements with attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and performing repetitive tasks with precision
Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Manufacturing, packaging, or production experience is a plus
Knowledge of Massachusetts cannabis compliance is advantageous (training provided)
Schedule & Work Environment
Full-time position based in Beverly, MA
Driving schedule varies based on deliveries; non-driving time will be scheduled in production/packaging
Must be comfortable working around production equipment, moving mechanical parts, fumes/airborne particles, and cleaning chemicals (PPE provided)
