Job Description

Schedule: Part Time

Facility Name: PeaceHealth

Your experience matters

At Lifepoint Health, we are committed to empowering and supporting a diverse and determined workforce who can drive quality, scalability, and significant impact across our hospitals and communities. As a member of the Health Support Center (HSC) team, you'll support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier ®.

More about our team

We believe your work as a physical therapist should be deeply rewarding, for both you and the people you serve. Here, you'll be part of an award-winning inpatient rehabilitation team that's been recognized nationally for excellent patient outcomes. Our program ranks in the top 10% of inpatient rehab programs by Uniform Data Systems and has been named one of Newsweek's Top 5 Physical Rehabilitation Centers two years in a row. We're not just treating patients, we're helping neighbors reclaim independence, restore mobility, and return to the life they love.
  • True teamwork: Collaborate daily with a full interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, neuropsychology, case management, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, therapy technicians, and support staff in a collaborative environment where your voice matters.
  • High-intensity rehab focus: You'll primarily serve patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, progressive neurological conditions, amputation, orthopedic injuries, cardiopulmonary issues, and complex medical conditions.
  • State-of-the-art facilities: And we're growing. A new 42-bed freestanding inpatient rehabilitation hospital (opening mid-late 2026) will feature a 10-bed traumatic brain injury unit and therapy spaces designed to integrate cutting-edge rehab technology.
  • Oregon lifestyle: Our RiverBend Campus sits in the heart of the Willamette Valley, with rivers, trails, and mountains just minutes away.
How you'll contribute

A Speech Pathologist excels in this role:
  • Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
  • Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What we're looking for
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • License: Current SLP license and ASHA certification
  • Certifications: CPR required
What we offer

We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. In addition to your base compensation, this position also offers:
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Multiple levels of medical, dental and vision coverage for full-time and part-time employees.
  • Financial Protection & PTO: Life, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity insurance, short- and long-term disability, paid family leave and paid time off.
  • Financial & Career Growth: Higher education and certification tuition assistance, loan assistance and 401(k) retirement package and company match.
  • Employee Well-being: Mental, physical, and financial wellness programs (free gym memberships, virtual care appointments, mental health services and discount programs).
  • Professional Development: Ongoing learning and career advancement opportunities.
