Job description

Salary: $156,400 - 166,400 per year

Requirements:
  • Over 2 years of professional experience in thermal power plant performance or emissions compliance in roles such as Plant Performance Engineer, Thermal Performance/Heat Rate Engineer, Air Quality/Emissions Compliance Specialist, or GHG/Sustainability Reporting Analyst
  • Proficient in independently generating work using AVEVA PI or ArcGIS
  • Practical experience with processes such as heat rate efficiency analysis, EPA continuous emissions monitoring reporting, and GHG emissions inventory and annual reporting
  • Bachelors degree or higher is mandatory
  • Excellent written communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and capability to work autonomously in a remote, asynchronous setting
Responsibilities:
  • Utilize your professional expertise to independently deliver genuine analytical work outputs, including heat rate efficiency analyses, EPA emissions monitoring reports, and GHG inventory documentation, in a structured project-based manner
  • Employ tools like AVEVA PI and ArcGIS to accomplish tasks as you would in your regular position
  • Provide expert-level contributions that underpin AI training datasets for applications in the energy sector
  • Manage tasks at your own pace without a fixed schedule or minimum hour requirements
