[job_card.job_description]Work with users and customers to define the key performance indicators (KPIs) for systems and infrastructure Create monitoring processes based on use cases, workflows, and data Design and run tests to check the performance of systems and infrastructure Share findings and improvement recommendations through reports and briefings Create and enforce policies to standardize systems and monitoring tools Set up monitoring systems to test infrastructure and services for user experience and customize them for customer needs 5+ years of experience with networking technologies, specifically switches, routers, and resolving complex LAN / WAN issues Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field OR equivalent combination of education, professional training, or experience Active Security+ CE Certification (or higher) with one or more of the following active network certifications : Network+, CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA-Junos, JNCIS-ENT Active Secret Clearance, with Top-Secret Clearance (preferred) Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or Arista Experience with TACACS, Radius (ACS / ISE) Knowledge of SNMP, Syslog, ACLs, VLAN, Routing, and Switching Network issue resolution skills Experience with network monitoring tools such as NetScout, InfoVista, etc., to isolate issues Ability to assess and optimize network performance Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
