Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Establish clear SLAs, KPIs, and governance frameworks for third-party vendors and outsource/offshore teams.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance scalability and reduce operational risk.
  • Effectively lead and develop team members by fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Collaborate across regions and time zones to ensure seamless communication and alignment in a global operating environment.
  • Supervise daily, monthly, and quarterly performance calculations for portfolios, composites, and benchmarks.
  • Ensure robust analysis/interpretations of results across equity, fixed income, and multi-asset strategies.
  • Maintain adherence to Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement strong controls and audit trails across internal and outsourced processes for data integrity.
  • Deliver high-quality performance reports and dashboards to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide interpretation of performance drivers and risk-adjusted returns.
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and outsourced/offshored providers, ensuring alignment and accountability.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, risk teams, and client reporting functions globally.
  • Respond to client inquiries and support RFPs with accurate performance data and commentary.

Requirements of the Role:

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or related field.
  • CFA or CIPM designation or progress toward certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in performance measurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of GIPS standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience managing outsourced and offshored teams, including vendor governance and SLA management.
  • Proficiency in performance systems (e.g., Eagle, Factset, Aladdin).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage global stakeholders and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with attribution methodologies (Brinson, fixed income attribution, multi-currency) a plus.
  • Strong technology skills including the knowledge of investment analytics/attribution applications as well as expertise in Microsoft applications including Excel, Access, Power BI, and VBA is preferred. Programming skills are also a plus.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong project management and leadership capabilities to drive initiatives to completion.
  • Skilled in conducting complex analyses and translating data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Exceptional analytical aptitude with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to build relationships and communicate across diverse teams, departments, and geographies.
  • Adaptable and open-minded, thriving in fast-paced, dynamic global environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain focus on critical details under pressure
