  • Partner with stakeholders to understand issues, define problems, clarify requirements, and ensure needs are accurately documented and resolved.
  • Troubleshoot AMS related issues; modify CMS pages, update queries, views, and stored procedures; design and develop custom AMS pages and components and manage SQL Agent jobs that support operational workflows.
  • Maintain and update AMS reports, mailing lists, and operational outputs required by internal teams.
  • Design and update AMS data structures, including creating new database tables and modifying existing schema components to support new features and business processes.
  • Perform AMS data imports; match and clean incoming information as needed.
  • Coordinate with AMS vendors when escalation is required, preparing clear problem statements and tracking resolution through completion.
  • Conduct testing activities for AMS updates, configuration changes, and new workflows, including identifying and preparing appropriate test data, executing test cases, documenting results, and validating fixes before deployment.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to support data integration, reporting, and analytics initiatives involving AMS data.
  • Document AMS data structures, business rules, and operational workflows to support enterprise data initiatives and reporting.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on AMS data structures and operational workflows to support data engineering, reporting, and analytics initiatives.
  • Assist with data validation, reconciliation, and testing activities related to new data pipelines, integrations, or reporting solutions.
  • Partner with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure AMS data is accurately represented in downstream systems, reports, and analytics environments.
  • Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including database backups and updates to test and development environments.
  • Provide second-tier AMS support and collaborate across teams to ensure reliable AMS performance and workflow continuity.
  • Partner with and receive mentorship from the Data Engineer to develop skills in data integration, pipeline processes, and advanced data management practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the IT Solutions software development process.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to write, troubleshoot, and update SQL queries, stored procedures, and operational scripts used in AMS workflows.
  • Ability to identify and prepare relevant test data and support thorough testing of AMS changes, system upgrades, and new processes.
  • Strong knowledge of AMS workflows, membership processes, and configurations to support troubleshooting and evaluate proposed changes.
  • Ability to interpret operational data structures and business processes and communicate them effectively to technical teams such as data engineers and analytics staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-definition skills with the ability to gather requirements, clarify needs, and translate stakeholder issues into actionable steps.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, especially when partnering with Membership and other non-technical teams.
  • Ability to coordinate vendor escalations, document issues clearly, and follow through until resolution.
  • Skill in testing system changes, validating outcomes, and ensuring operational readiness before deployment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience, including experience with Association Management Systems (preferably NetForum), MS SQL, HTML, and JavaScript.
