Job Summary
We are seeking a ServiceNow Senior Developer with 10+ years of hands on ServiceNow development experience to design, build, and maintain custom ServiceNow applications and integrations. The role requires strong expertise in ServiceNow Custom App Development, ITSM, integration, and UI customization, with a focus on delivering end to end technical solutions and supporting the stability and usability of the ServiceNow environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
Act as a ServiceNow developer with experience in integration and UI development.
Design, develop, customize, and administer custom applications and processes in ServiceNow, handling incidents, problems, changes, and service requests.
Develop and maintain UI components aligned with business and user experience requirements.
Implement and enhance ServiceNow workflows using Business Rules (BR), UI Policies, Access Controls Lists (ACLs), and related development features.
Design end to end integrations between ServiceNow and external systems (e.g., third party tools, databases, or cloud platforms) and demonstrate integrations to customers.
Engage in support activities to ensure the smooth operation of the ServiceNow environment.
Apply strong integration skills to enable seamless connectivity between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
Use deep functional and technical knowledge of the ITSM Agile ServiceNow platform to build scalable, maintainable solutions.
Collaborate with a team to design, develop, implement, and maintain high quality technical solutions.
Use strong technical and analytical skills to generate innovative ideas to resolve application and operational issues.
Demonstrate being a fast learner and a good team player with an analytical mindset and creative thinking.
Maintain good written and verbal communication skills for documentation, demos, and stakeholder discussions.
Mandatory Skills
ServiceNow Custom App Development Strong hands on experience in building and customizing custom ServiceNow applications.
ServiceNow development skills Proficiency in Business Rules, UI Policies, ACLs, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and related development techniques.
Integration skills Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems (REST/SOAP, MID Server, import sets, etc.).
UI development Ability to design and customize ServiceNow user interfaces to meet business requirements.
ITSM knowledge Solid understanding of ITSM and Agile ServiceNow concepts and workflows.
Desired / Nice to Have Skills
Data modelling experience Experience designing and refining data models and schemas in ServiceNow.
ServiceNow Administration certification Demonstrated expertise in ServiceNow administration.
ServiceNow Implementation Specialist (ITSM) certification Preferred but optional.
