Our client, a premier multi-location equipment dealership with a reputation for excellence, is seeking a high-caliber Parts Manager. This pivotal leadership role oversees all inventory operations and departmental strategy while maintaining a hands-on presence in high-level sales.
The successful candidate will align departmental performance with corporate objectives, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and aggressive revenue growth.
Strategic Responsibilities

Financial Management: Monitor and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales plan variances, gross margin percentages, and inventory obsolescence to meet or exceed annual fiscal goals.

Operational Leadership: Supervise and schedule department personnel to ensure peak productivity, professional service delivery, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Revenue Generation: Execute strategic marketing and merchandising initiatives. Develop comprehensive sales plans tailored to market opportunities and company-wide growth targets.

Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain professional partnerships with manufacturer representatives and a diverse SSA customer base.

Customer Excellence: Oversee the point-of-sale process, ensuring counter staff provide elite-level service. Act as the final point of escalation for complex customer inquiries or conflict resolution.

Process Oversight: Manage the full lifecycle of parts administration, including emergency procurement, work orders, and returns, ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance.

Talent Development: Lead ongoing training programs to enhance the technical proficiency and consultative selling skills of the parts team.
Professional Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 3+ years in parts operations and inventory management, preferably within the heavy equipment or automotive sectors.

Leadership: Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and navigate interpersonal dynamics in a fast-paced environment.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Business Acumen: Deep understanding of internal logistics and external market drivers, supported by strong negotiation and closing capabilities.

Organization: Highly detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines under pressure without sacrificing accuracy.
