Sterile Process Tech II S

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Sterile Process Tech II S to join our team on a PRN basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with established protocols and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sterile processing techniques and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of patient safety and infection control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Inspect instruments for proper function and cleanliness.
• Assemble surgical instrument sets according to established guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
• Adhere to infection control policies and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure timely availability of sterile supplies.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Sterile Process Technician or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of sterilization methods and infection control standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Certification in sterile processing (preferred but not required).
