The Role -
Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Process Technician to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Mesa, AZ.
The successful candidate will support machining departments, including setup, start up, operations and troubleshooting of conventional and CNC machines and post-machining operations, with a high focus on daily manufacturing floor support, while working closely with the Process Engineering Team for documentation needed.
The key responsibilities of a Process Technician include, but are not limited to:
- Daily manufacturing floor support
- Creation of programs for new products
- Maintain DNC with proven, best practice programs
- Providing training for Operators to run good quality parts
- Support initiatives and training for corrective actions
- Quality and technical support to internal and external customers
- Continuous improvement and cost reduction activities
- Process troubleshooting to ensure quality product is machined
- Complete initial set up of jobs on varying machines

The Person -
The key skills and qualities of a Process Technician at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:
- Technical or associate degree is preferred, 6 + years in machining
- Must have knowledge of programming CNC machines and some conventional experience
- Proficient with the setup and operation of conventional and CNC machines to produce aluminum and steel parts
- Familiar with technical drawings and precision measurement devices
- Knowledge of MS Office programs
- Possible travel domestic or overseas
- Must be able to multitask, work with minimal supervision and lead teams; participate in projects for all aspects of the connector business

- Excellent oral and written skills
- Computer usage from 1 to 8 hours a day
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
