What You’ll Do:

  • Hardware Inspection & Testing: Perform hardware receipt inspections and burn-in testing for new equipment.
  • Hardware Installation & Relocation: Install, relocate, and conduct operation function testing on phones, printers, thin clients, personal computers, and other hardware.
  • Repair & Troubleshooting: Repair and test a variety of equipment including personal computers, tablets, mobile phones, printers, and more.
  • Electronics Knowledge: Use your expertise in electronics to troubleshoot and repair equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance, including cleaning and servicing equipment such as terminals, printers, mobile phones, personal computers, and related devices.
  • Parts & Supplies Management: Submit timely requests for necessary parts and supplies while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Spare Parts & Loaner Devices: Maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts and loaner devices to expedite repairs.
  • Problem Management: Utilize problem management systems to track issues to resolution, logging all corrective actions taken.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Completion of specialized electronics/computer-related courses is required.
  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology or Electronics is preferred.
  • Minimum of one year’s experience in terminal, printer, and personal computer repair is preferred.
  • At least one year’s experience with Windows 10, Apple products, and Microsoft Office is required.
  • A+ Certification and two years of experience in terminal, printer, and personal computer repair are preferred.
