Lead and mentor a team of process technicians, providing support, training, and performance feedback to ensure team success.
Act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting, escalations, and resolution of process or equipment-related issues.
Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to process technicians to ensure smooth operations and adherence to production schedules.
Oversee the setup, calibration, and operation of manufacturing equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions or process deviations in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate documentation of process changes, production data, and maintenance activities.
Work closely with the maintenance team to schedule and perform preventive maintenance to minimize disruptions.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations.
Identify potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Promote a culture of safety awareness and lead by example to ensure a safe working environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Associate degree or bachelor’s degree. Manufacturing, supply chain, or related field preferred.
2–5 years of experience in packaging, manufacturing, or production, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
Experience in solar manufacturing or a similar industry is a plus.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of packaging processes, equipment, and materials.
Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using packaging machinery and tools.
Knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing (e.g., OSHA, ISO, or similar).
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Desired Skills

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and inventory management software.
Understanding of solar panel manufacturing processes and terminology.
Knowledge of sustainable packaging practices.

This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $59,029.00 - $81,165.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
