POSITION SUMMARY:
Perform all aspects of loading/unloading, picking/packing/unpacking, ticketing, distributing, counting, and filling orders.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Pick, induct, sort, and pack orders using RF technology and computers/scanners
  • Unpack merchandise from cartons and separate by color, size, and style
  • Count, record, and verify quantities of merchandise to fill orders
  • Pull merchandise from multiple levels of shelving or move merchandise to open areas in plastic totes or cardboard boxes
  • Must be able to work in all departments performing various functions of the Merchandise Processor position on a regular, consistent basis
  • Must be able to perform physical requirements (described below) on a regular, consistent basis
  • Must meet monthly production and quality standards
  • Reliable and consistent attendance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • CONTINUOUS (67% TO 100%)Lifting 1-10 lbs. to 72” (overhead height)Standing / WalkingForward ReachingGripping 1-25 lbs.Pinching 2 lbs.Bilateral Hand Coordination
  • FREQUENT (34% TO 66%)Lifting 11 to 35 lbs. to 62” (above shoulder height)Stair Climbing and performing work at Platform Heights up to 60 ft.Forward Bending, Lateral & Overhead Reaching, Stooping, KneelingGripping 26-34 lbs.Push/Pull 1-15 lbs.
  • OCCASIONAL (1% TO 33%)Lifting 36 to 50 lbs. to 32”Carry 1-35 lbs. up to 50 ft.Gripping 35 lbs.Pinching 2-6 lbs.Pulling 1-25 lbs.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ticket merchandise
  • Make boxes
  • Complete all paperwork in an accurate and neat manner
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Ability to perform basic math skills accurately including addition, subtraction, and multiplication
  • Must be able to fill out paperwork and forms neatly and accurately
