Procurement Coordinator
Location: Hybrid 3 days on-site in Redmond, WA / 2 days remote Salary: $100,000
Mackin Talent is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to support procurement logistics and inventory management in a fast-paced lab and engineering environment. This hybrid role will provide coordination support for procurement activities, helping ensure materials, tools, supplies, and vendor resources are available to support day-to-day operations and project work. The Procurement Coordinator will partner with internal teams and external vendors to manage purchasing requests, shipping coordination, inventory support, and vendor onboarding. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of procurement processes that support interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide coordinator support for procurement activities
- Support interdisciplinary information exchange related to procurement processes
- Manage lab PR/PO requests and shipping requests
- Manage and coordinate tool purchasing and inventory
- Manage and coordinate purchasing and inventory for lab supplies, consumables, and R&D hardware, including optics, opto-mechanical parts, electronics, and related materials
- Manage onboarding of external vendors, including access and coordination of engineering resources and project tools as applicable
- Support request processes from triage through completion
- Help maintain accurate inventory and procurement records
- Ensure timely and efficient support of lab and engineering procurement needs
Requirements Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory coordination, supply chain support, or a related role
- Working knowledge of procurement processes and logistics coordination
- Experience managing PR/PO requests, purchasing requests, and shipping coordination
- Experience supporting inventory management for tools, supplies, consumables, or hardware
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across interdisciplinary teams
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting lab, R&D, engineering, or technical teams
- Familiarity with technical materials such as optics, electronics, and opto-mechanical components
- Experience onboarding vendors and coordinating access to tools and resources
- Experience identifying opportunities to improve procurement workflows and coordination processes
