Procurement Specialist is responsible for identifying and screening procurement suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions in our favor, driving improved supplier service levels, minimizing risk while improving business results, standardizing and automating business and procurement best practice processes.
1. Under the supervision of the Procurement Manager, assists in the procurement of engineered equipment, systems, materials, or services in support of project execution and assists in the following activities:
2. Assisting the Sales and Business Development Department in obtaining and reviewing supplier quotations for sales proposals and the preparation of total cost calculations.
Education/Experience: Associates degree or Bachelor's degree. Five to ten years of progressive procurement and general office experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the following:
Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
Microsoft Windows
SAP software experience
Salary: $71,000
