  • www.circuitboardmedics.com Job Description As a Product Development Engineer you will play a key role in the product development process from product identification, all the way through post launch support while considering customers needs, industry trends, pricing, and the most efficient workflows.
  • You will help to ensure that CBM delivers the right product to the market with the right timing.
  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing new product launches while collaborating with other teams to ensure the successful integration of new products into our production process.
  • What You’ll Do Product Identification and Prioritization Identify growth opportunities and demand for products within our current markets Evaluate current lists of opportunities to help determine which products to pursue Reverse Engineering and Testing Determine failure modes of potential products through PCB troubleshooting Document learnings and create clear work instructions to hand off to our production team Create applicable testing to ensure that our repairs are successful and that our quality objectives are met Materials and Component Sourcing Identify needs for component replacement and work to source compatible parts Collaborate with our purchasing and inventory teams to establish partnerships and ensure a reliable supply chain Process Optimization Collaborate with the operations and process engineering teams to optimize remanufacturing processes Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and speed of remanufacturing operations Cross-functional Collaboration Collaborate with various teams, including marketing, sales, and customer support, to align product development with market needs and customer feedback Provide technical expertise and support to various departments as needed Project Management Identify tasks and resources needed for specific product launches Create a project plan including tasks and deliverables with desired timelines for completion Evaluate progress and ensure that development milestones are met Desired Qualifications and Skills B.S. in Electrical Engineering or other engineering field 3-5 years of work experience in product development, electronics repair, or remanufacturing.
