  • $20–$23/hour | Monday–Friday | 8:

|00 AM–5:00 PM Location: Joliet, IL 60435 - Travel to our Bolingbrook and/or Hinsdale locations occasionally required.
  • About Pain & Spine Institute (PSI) Pain & Spine Institute (PSI) is a multidisciplinary pain practice serving Northwest Indiana and the greater Chicago area.
  • Our physicians specialize in interventional pain techniques, including diagnostic nerve blocks, spinal injections, implantable neuromodulation, and regenerative therapies.
  • The Opportunity As a Medical Assistant at PSI, you’ll support clinical workflows and daily operations — assisting providers during procedures, preparing rooms and equipment, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Your role helps maintain safe, timely, and efficient patient care.
  • Duties & Responsibilities Clinical Support & Patient Care Record patient histories, vitals, test results, and clinical data while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and instruments for visits and procedures.
  • Assist practitioners during procedures and support patients before, during, and after treatment.
  • Prepare, order, and administer medications under physician supervision.
  • Provide compassionate support to patients and families.
  • Administrative & Operational Support Manage phones, scheduling, patient check-ins, and documentation.
  • Maintain medical supply inventory and ensure exam rooms are stocked.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulations.
  • Complete mandatory annual training and assist with additional duties as assigned.
